Q. What do I get when I lease a server from you?
A. You get your own dedicated internet server that is fully managed by us. You can do what you want with this: for example you may use it as your mail server; or host your storefront (shopping cart) on this; or you can host a helpdesk that only your organization can access. Imagination is the limit!
Q. Do I get root password for the server?
A. Root access is generally not given because of the risk of the server set-up being compromised by non-technical users. However, if you require root access we will give it to you on a need-to-have basis.
Q. Why do I need a managed server? Can't I hire my own system administrator?
A. Sure you can! But why pay for a sysadmin when all we charge is 100$/mo for managing a server?

A. We are a team of 3 IT professionals with many years of experience and we have been running Valai.Net from 2001. We are a profit making, debt-free company known for its uptime and customer service.

Q. Why should I trust you? Every website looks great, but only when we get close to a hosting company do we get to smell the stink!
A. We do not ask you to trust us. Please do not! It burdens us with more responsibility. We, at Valai Networks, feel that good business should not need trust. That is why we have a month-to-month, no-contract deal where you hire a server for a month and if you are not satisfied you can simply walk out!
 
Q. What kind of support can I expect?
A. Our support is straightforward, effective, to the point and sensible. Both responsive and responsible. Adjectives apart, you can expect emergency issues to be resolved within an hour, any time of the day, any day of the week. We are a team of 3 in different timezones and our helpdesk is manned 24 hours a day , 7 days of the week. In addition you will have numbers to call us round-the-clock. Normal tickets sent through the helpdesk or email can get a response/resolution within 6 hours maximum. We would also be available on Instant Messengers like MSN, AIM or Yahoo , by prior-appointment, for general how-to sessions.
More than anything else, we are very caring.

A. We work with 4 different Data Centers in North America. One in Irvine, California; one in Montreal, Canada; one in Atlanta, Georgia and one in New Jersey, New York.
